Kristie Kaiser Frudden
Graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in
Art,
Certified in K-12 Art Education. Additional course work completed
at
Bemidji State, and Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Her career path has led her from working as a Metro Art Center
Instructor, Public School Art Specialist, Special Arts Instructor,
St. Paul Minnesota Community Art Board Member, Award Winning
Fine Artist, to Narrative Art and Illustration.
Kristie has an especially great love of children’s Art
and Art for children (of all ages).

and corporations includes:
North Memorial Hospital, Minneapolis, MN,
Digi Graphics/Photos Inc., Minneapolis, MN,
Mounds Park Academy, St. Paul, MN,
Oak Hill Montessori, Shoreview, MN.
Her work has been commissioned or collected by numerous private
and corporate collectors.
Currently, Kristie is illustrating her first children’s
book that is planned for a fall/winter 06’ release. Look

She is a member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers
and Illustrators, The Children’s Literature Network, Artists
of Minnesota, and Art Reach Alliance.
